I’m ready to see the Magic story move beyond the Gatewatch. I love the characters, but seeing the same characters rehash the same story (i.e., the Avengers show up and save the day… again) is getting tiresome.
It’d be great to focus more on characters we don’t always get to see. What’s Saheeli doing? Why can’t she be the star of the Kaladesh block? Couldn’t we have focused more on Thalia, or Geralf & Gisa when we returned to Innistrad? There are so many amazing stories that could be told, yet we get more stories about the Gatewatch. I’m ready to put an end to this very long chapter of the story.
